Deolo Hill

The slope is 1,704 meters (5,590 feet) above the plant and is the most elevated place of Kalimpong town. The slope is found north east of the town. Three water repositories, two of which act as the essential drinking water source to the town are available on this slope. The town of Kalimpong, the encompassing towns of Relli valley, Teesta River and its valleys all can be seen starting here.

On a sunny morning, the snow-cloud heaps of West Sikkim are likewise noticeable from this slope. At the highest point of this slope, there is a recreation area worked for diversion purposes which include outlandish blossoms. The recreation area is a famous outing spot for travelers as well as local people. Close to the recreation area a Hindu sanctuary is likewise a visited spot.


Science Center:

Kalimpong Science Center conveys science and innovation to the people groups in such a manner with the essential goal of fostering a logical attitude in the general public and advancing the information and thoughts of science on different instructive establishments/associations. Kalimpong Science Center has been imagined, planned and created by the National Council of Science Museums (Ministry of Culture, Government of India). Kalimpong Science Center was enrolled under West Bengal Certificate of Registration of Societies Act XXVI of 1961 on 27th July'2007. 

Kalimpong Science Center has been laid out in Kalimpong, one of the Hill Subdivision of Darjeeling District in the year 2008, imagined, planned and created by National Council of Science Museums (Ministry of Culture, Government of India). It is an information based association of top notch and commitment; participate in promoting Science and Technology among the general masses especially, in understudies. Kalimpong Science Center was introduced on second October'2008 by Shri B. L. Meena, IAS, and Honorable Administrator-Darjeeling Gorkha Hill chamber.

Durpin Hill:

Durpin  Hill is associated by an edge on which the town of Kalimpong stands. The slope is 1,372 meters (4,501 feet) above mean sea level and is found south west of the town. The slope offers an all encompassing perspective neglecting the town of Kalimpong, the snow clad Himalayan scopes of West Sikkim. On the slope sits the Zang Dhok Palri Monastery which was blessed by the Dalai Lama in 1976. 

The religious community holds in its reliquary 108 volumes of the Kangyur, as well as other heavenly books and parchments that were moved out of Tibet after the Chinese attack. The Indian Army has a significant base on Durpin Hill because of its closeness to the global line. Close to the cloister, a helipad has been developed by the Indian Army.

Mangal Dham:

Mangal Dham, a temple located in the beautiful town of Kalimpong, was built in 1993. The temple was constructed by Shri Krishna Pranami, a Hindu sect and in the memory of late Guru Shri 108 Mangaldas. Sprawling over an area of 2 acres of wooded land, this temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. 

Pine View Nursery:

A ways off of 2.5 km from Kalimpong Bus Station, Pine View Nursery is a cactus nursery arranged on Atisha Road in Kalimpong of West Bengal. It is one of the famous nurseries in Kalimpong and one of the stops focuses on a standard Kalimpong neighborhood touring visit. Pine View Nursery is a confidential business nursery laid out in 1971 and is known for its extraordinary assortment of cactus.Spread over an area of 2 sections of land, it houses more than 1500 types of desert plant which was gathered constantly from around the globe for a considerable length of time. Hanuman Tok:

At a distance of 8 km from Kalimpong Bus Station, Hanuman Temple is a Hindu temple located in Kalimpong of West Bengal. Situated near Deolo Hill, it is one of the beautiful places of pilgrimage in Kalimpong and among the best places to visit in Kalimpong.

Durga Temple:

A small Durga temple is also there near the entrance gate. This place is located at an elevation and overlooks the Teesta River on one side and the hills on the other side.

One needs to climb a flight of stairs to reach the temple and the place offers a mesmerizing view of Mount Kanchenjunga. On a bright sunny day, in the neighboring state of Sikkim, the surrounding landscapes of Lava and Kaffer hills are also clearly visible from there. 

Lord Buddha Statue:

While traveling along the road, you can see this beautiful Lord Buddha temple with a large statue and a little praying room beneath. Must visit this place and spend some time in the prayer room to feel the serenity of the place.
